Central Park Stroll 2010
Thursday, April 15, 2010, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
The Central Park Stroll is a public reception and street party in honor of the
Tenth Annual Florida Outdoor Sculpture Competition, a joint project of the City of Winter Haven and Polk Museum of Art.
The prize winners will be announced at that time, and
the public is invited to vote for their favorite piece of artwork. The piece
with the most votes will win the People's Choice Award.
A docent will be located next to each sculpture to answer questions about the
piece, the competition in general, and how to vote for People's Choice. Musical
entertainment will be provided, as well as street performers. Local restaurants and vendors
will set up with food and drink available for
purchase.
